NJUnited AC Launches Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser to Assist Underfunded Youth Soccer Programs Across New Jersey
In an exciting new collaboration, New Jersey United Athletic Club (NJUnited AC) has teamed up with Select Sports and Just Sports Training to launch the Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser — an initiative designed to provide much-needed support to local and underfunded youth soccer programs across New Jersey.
With the soaring costs of sports equipment and the growing popularity of soccer in the United States, many youth soccer programs struggle to provide basic necessities like soccer balls for their players. This fundraiser aims to pull together the power of the community to raise awareness, gather donations, and provide 750 discounted soccer balls to 75 local youth programs.
The Power of Teamwork: Together Everyone Accomplishes More
The goal of the Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser is simple yet powerful: to make soccer more accessible for young athletes by easing the financial burden on local programs. By supporting this initiative, you can help create a lasting impact on hundreds of youth players in New Jersey, providing them with the equipment they need to play the sport they love.
The vision is to distribute 10 soccer balls to 75 different youth programs by February 1st, 2025, helping to lower the cost for participants, parents, and organizations alike in the coming seasons.
Fundraiser Goals
Raise $10,000 by Friday, January 1st, 2025.
Purchase 750 discounted soccer balls from Select Sports.
Distribute 10 soccer balls to 75 different youth programs and organizations across New Jersey.
Help lower the cost for local programs, making soccer more accessible.
Increase participation by making soccer affordable for local families and communities.
By coming together as a community, NJUnited AC and its partners aim to ensure that young athletes have access to the essential gear they need to play, compete, and thrive.
How to Apply for a Donation
Is your youth soccer program in need of soccer balls? If so, they encourage you to apply for this donation! The application process is simple:
Fill out the form at Application Form.
Email the following documents to njunitedac@gmail.com (all attachments should be in PDF format):
Cover Letter: Explain why your program needs the donation, how it will benefit your participants, and provide specific details about your program’s challenges and budget.
2024 Income & Expense Spreadsheet: Share your program’s financial situation for the year 2024.
2025 Income & Expense Spreadsheet: Provide an outline for your expected budget and expenses in 2025.
Any other relevant documents: If you have additional information to support your application, feel free to include it.
Please ensure that your email subject line reads:"Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser_Applicant Name_Team/Organization/Program Name."
The deadline for applications is 11:59 PM on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024. They will reach out to applicants within two to four weeks after submission to notify them of their approval status.
